Thank you for your consideration in becoming a member of the Johnson Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and with your membership comes many benefits – events, programs, networking, and referrals. Your investment enables us to foster economic growth in Johnson Lake, promote local and area business, and contribute to making our lake community a place loved by residents and guests alike. We are gearing up for another fun-filled summer. We have BIG plans this year!
Annual memberships are used to promote patronage to businesses in the Johnson Lake area, develop Johnson Lake brand recognition, create sponsorships for social events, and showcase all that Johnson Lake has to offer. After all, the lake has been referred to as Nebraska’s “slice of paradise.”
This year we hope to accomplish even more!
- We are rebranding the JLAC and relaunching our website! The new johnsonlake.org will connect visitors with year round information, will include direct links to membership businesses websites, and will include membership and donation payment processing.
- We are creating more event opportunities for socialization and gathering.
- We are actively enhancing our social media presence by consolidating multiple channels boasting a combined membership of over 5600 individuals. This effort aims to maximize exposure, provide support to our community, and elevate brand visibility for our Chamber members.
- We will continue to promote all that’s happening at the lake.
Benefits Include:
Business Referrals - Business members will be able to expand their customer base through our special events and planned business networking opportunities. They can also increase revenue as referrals from the Chamber web site, mail and phone inquiries are passed to them.
Activities, Special Events & Promotions – Events such as the 4th of July Fireworks, Holiday Light Show/Contest, Sailing Regattas, Fishing Tournaments, Annual Chamber Golf Tournament and others will provide members an exciting value that everyone enjoys…making life on the lake more fun!
Membership Directory – The membership directory will serve as a useful tool to everyone at the lake and the surrounding area. It provides advertising opportunities, area information, features of the lake and more!
Marketing Opportunities – The potential to increase business revenue and gain exposure can be achieved by promotion in the membership directory, the Chamber web site, sponsorship of events, inclusion in the Chamber newsletter and hosting a special event.

Link to Lake Issues – The Chamber will be able to function as a viable link providing reports and, in some cases, influencing the issues facing the lake.
